Holy crap. I didn’t think this mix would ever make it to the surface but it’s finally here and I’m finally happy with it. The whole time I was making this mix, all I kept thinking about was that Amanda Blank song Something Bigger, Something Better, because that’s all I wanted to accomplish. Something bigger and better than what I expected myself to do. I developed a routine for this mix-I’d work on it, love it, then get sick of it and push it into a dusty corner in my MacBook. We had the most bipolar relationship, one day I’d love love love it and it loved me. Then the next day I was tempted to delete the whole thing because it sounded shit. So I set a deadline, I said it had to be done by June 18th. Haha I’m obviously really good with due dates…
But at least it’s just a week!
So the vibe of this mix is hyperactive hardcore bossgirl. It’s what I love, it’s what I know best and it’s what Couvy stands for. It’s a mix of electro and bassline house music. Basically, a bunch of songs that really get me pumped to have XX chromosomes in my genetic makeup (hayy bio 11 throwback). This doesn’t mean the boys can’t get in on it too, you guys are welcome to take a listen. You might even love it. K, enjoy amigos!
