My friend Dina recently got a job at Noir Lash Lounge, where you can get lash extensions done. She needed some models to practice on so I figured, why not, it’ll be a new experience.
Wearing strip lashes EVERY DAY is kind ridiculous, but getting extensions has the same look, and it lasts up to 2 weeks. Unless you cry, like I did, that pretty much destroys a lot of them.
The whole process takes about an hour. You get your bottom lashes taped down (that’s the white under my eyes in the picture) then you lie with your eyes closed while each individual lash in the length of your choice gets glued on ONE at a time. I can’t stay still for long so it was kind of torturous, especially because EVERY song I liked playing got changed by another girl working there…….
I’d say it’s about the same price and time as getting artificial nails. It’s been over 2 weeks and all my lashes save but ONE on my left eye are gone. It saved me a ton of time because I didn’t have to put on mascara so I have to say that overall I enjoyed my week of long luciouz lashes.
